Convoy really upped on this host the ante by adding square-cut threads, matte finish hard anodizing, and an integral LED shelf. The included retaining ring will now work with the 17mm qlite driver, making for easy installation. The OP reflector produces a nice smooth beam profile. Just add a 20mm MCPCB with LED, 17mm driver, a bit of solder, and you'll be in business!
This host works with flat top, button top, unprotected, and some protected cells. Protected NCR18650B are a very tight fit; protected NCR18650BD do not fit. Protected NCR18650PF fit and are recommended.
